Congratulations to Don Matzeder AND Marion Collier for providing entertainment for the rest of us. Most of us don't get to travel much and it was always exciting to get a new Match Report in just to see where you two had traveled. Congratulations also to Joe Friedrich AND Richard Gorham for their finishes on the Aggregate Stat/Line.  2009 was another great year for ARA - THANKS TO ALL OF YOU.. 

ARA Questionnaire - WE STILL NEED YOUR INPUT!!!
On page 44 of the latest issue of the ARA News is a questionnaire about the ARA Nationals. We at ARA would like your opinions and suggestions regarding the ARA Nationals. We are making this questionnaire available here on the website also.

ARA Nationals Results - Final Results

Congratulations Brian Brandt for taking first place in the 2009 ARA Nationals. 

Carl Dean was the winner of the 2009 ARA Project Rifle built by Roger Brock.

Congratulations to our Juniors who participated in the 2009 Junior Recognition Tournament.

ARA News - In the mail
As if I didn't have enough going on - I sent the latest issue of the ARA News to the printer on August 17, hoping to get it in the mail that following Saturday. With everything else going on in my own little world I didn't follow up with the printer until this past Thursday (Aug. 27) and found out that my sales rep had retired and my order was sitting in www-land. Fortunately, the owner stepped up and I was able to pick up the newsletter on Friday (Aug. 28) and get them all out in the mail on Saturday (Aug. 29) - whew! Of course, because of the delay all the information is now old!!! The most up-to-date info can be found on this website.

2009 ARA Nationals
Once again the ARA Nationals will be held at the Bench Rest Rifle Club of St. Louis over the Labor Day Weekend, starting with practice on Friday, September 4. Five targets on Saturday September 5, and the final three targets on Sunday September 6.

Equipment List:
An Equipment List is NO LONGER required for regular Club Matches or Club Tournaments. Equipment Lists ARE required for State Tournaments and the Nationals. These lists will be published in the ARA News.

Scoring Program:
The Scoring Program has been updated and you are encouraged to download a fresh copy of the program. This version has been updated with all the names and ID's of ARA Competitors to date and also expands the list of Clubs (Match Directors whose Clubs begins with W or Y will now be able to select your Club.)
